General Policies
- A subscription to NetAccess is extended at the pleasure
of NetAccess. NetAccess expressly reserves the right to cancel any
subscription without explanation and for any reason. NetAccess shall
have no obligation to the subscriber other than a prorata refund
of fees.
- It is the responsibility of NetAccess clients to pay their accounts
on a timely basis. Accounts are due upon receipt. All accounts not
paid within 30 days are subject to late charges and/or disabling
of the services in question and/or processing by The Credit Bureau.
- NetAccess electronically distributes bulletins relevant to clients' services. It is the
responsibility of NetAccess clients to read the monthly update on the NetAccess Home Page.
It is the responsibility of NetAccess clients to check their e-mail at regular intervals.
- NetAccess exercises no control over the content of the information
passing through it. NetAccess may, however, for technical purposes,
monitor usage including reviewing some or all information transmitted
through its facilities.
- The facilities of NetAccess may only be used for lawful purposes.
Transmission or storage of any material in violation of any Federal,
Provincial or local regulation is prohibited. This includes, but
is not limited to, copyrighted material, material legally judged
to be threatening, obscene, or material protected by trade secret.
- NetAccess clients are expected to demonstrate proper respect
for other individuals on the Internet. NetAccess neither condones
nor permits a use of NetAccess services which can be construed as
"harassment" in any way. This includes, but is not limited
to, spamming, flaming, etc.
- NetAccess clients are required to exercise care in the use of
their account. Any attempt to intentionally compromise system security
or peformance will be grounds for immediate termination of their
services.
- NetAccess denies any responsibility for the accuracy or quality
of information obtained through its services.
- While every reasonable effort is made to ensure the privacy of your material, NetAccess
does not guarantee privacy of your data, e-mail, or transmissions. For those to whom privacy
is a vital issue, we advise that they use methods such as encryption to ensure privacy.
- NetAccess is not responsible for any data loss experienced by
its clients, it is the clients responsibility to backup their data.
- NetAccess reserves the right to change its pricing and delivery
of service at any time without notice.
- An administrative fee may be charged for some account modifications
(such as a change of account name)
- NetAccess is authorized by the user of any account to review
their personal credit ratings. Such a review of a personal credit
rating shall only be used in conjunction with the user's application
for services of NetAccess.
- These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of NetAccess. Changes
will be announced via the monthly update on the NetAccess Home Page.
Disclaimer
The software and service is provided by NetAccess
"as is" and any express or implied warranties, including,
but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed. In no event shall
NetAccess be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special,
exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited
to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data,
or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any
theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort
(including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the
use of NetAccess products and services, even if advised of the possibility
of such damage.
Spamming Policy
Spamming is defined as sending mass unsolicited e-mail
and/or gratuitous Usenet cross-postings. When a NetAccess client
spams, they will receive one warning and an opportunity to explain
if they feel they have been unfairly charged. They will be required
to provide proof that they have read the policy on spamming and
understand the consequences of a repeat occurrence. Subsequent occurrence
of spamming by the same client will result in immediate termination

Domain Name Registation Policy
Customers registering domains via NetAccess Systems
Inc. agree to be bound by the following two Agreements:
- The Uniform
Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy as specified by ICANN
(the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers); and
- The terms and conditions as specified in the Registration Agreements for:
.com, .net, .org,
.ca,
.biz,
.info
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation of any service covered by a
written contract is subject to the cancellation terms
contained in that contract. Service cancellations take effect
on the first day of a month. Generally, the cancellation of
any service requires a 30-day advance notice provided in
writing (or via email). Notice should be sent:
